EDIT: I'm currently on vacation in Butte, Montana.
In case you didn't hear ... we had an earthqake here in Montana last night. It was officially the first natural earthquake that I have ever felt.
The quake, centered 13m nne of Dillon or along the Big Hole River about 4m se of Glen occurred at 10:08PM and registered at 5.6.
My mother and I were sitting at the computer when the house began to jolt and shake. It felt as if someone was stomping on the roof. Our ceiling fan started swinging and dishes and other items rattled. My mom got a crazed look upon her face and I softly said, "earthquake," before instinctively going outside.
Front porch lights were flipping and I could tell that the cell phone service had just experienced a sudden and unexpected load.
I was online and had submitted an earthquake report to the USGS before they had an official reading down.
Later, at about 1:12AM, I felt an aftershock. It didn't really shake much, my house just started creaking like crazy.
I was talking to two people online, one in Butte, on in Whitehall. Anna, in Butte felt it as well. It registered about 3.8.
I was happy. Tee hee.

Re: heyyy
Well thanks! Things are going pretty good ... they'd be better if I didn't have my impending return to Colorado and therein having to find a place and move to it at the same time. All in good time I s'pose.

Nope, just kidding. Well that sort of sucks but I kind of figured our paths wouldn't cross. Hope you're enjoying Butte and have a safe trip home!
